The Wake-Up Call That Sparked a Movement
It started with real life stories.
A school bag left on a road after a child’s accident.
An elderly father cheated of his savings.
A woman assaulted on her way home from work.
These aren’t just “cases” in a report. They are families broken, dignity stolen, and trust lost.
When I looked at the NCRB 2022 data – over 1.62 lakh crimes against children, 4.45 lakh cases of crimes against women, and 28,545 crimes against senior citizens – I realized: India doesn’t just need better devices. It needs a movement.
Most families invest in safety after something happens – after a theft, after a fire, after a child gets into trouble. And we’re here to change that.
That’s why I started the Safe Bharat Mission. To change “Safety is optional” mindsets.
What is the Safe Bharat Mission?
Safe Bharat Mission is India’s first safety education movement – a collective effort to make every child, woman, senior, and family safer in homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
It’s not just about cameras or safety devices. It’s about awareness, habits, and culture. Because true safety starts not with technology, but with people.
It’s our pledge to make every Indian home ready, aware, and protected—before danger strikes.
Why Safe Bharat Mission Exists?
In India, we grow up learning math, science, and history – but no one teaches us how to stay safe. There’s no formal training on how to protect our homes, our children, our elders, or even ourselves from everyday dangers like theft, fire, online scams, or emergencies.
Founded by the team behind SafemyHome, the Safe Bharat Mission was born from one belief:
“Safety isn’t a product you buy. Safety is a habit, a culture, a way of life.”
Too often, we react after tragedy strikes. Safe Bharat flips this – making prevention a national movement.
